Developing Leadership Talent

It is part of our core purpose to identify and develop leadership talent, this is detailed within our Trust Action Plan under the following elements:

  1. Improve the quality and consistency of teaching and leadership.
  2. Increase expectations and aspirations.
  3. The effective management of resources.

Through our Trust, Headteachers are given the opportunity to systematically identify potential leadership talent within their own schools. This talent is then nurtured and developed through a comprehensive programme of CPD, and inter-school partnerships, that equip staff with the additional skills necessary for their future careers.

Currently, this support is available through Learning Hubs, NPQML and through the commissioning of Senior Leadership programmes. This pathway naturally leads through to NPQH ensuring that our future leaders are ready for Headship.
